Earthquake Relief for Morocco

On behalf of the United Moroccan American Association of Cleveland Ohio (UMAACO), we want to sincerely thank you for helping us make a positive difference in the lives of so many families affected by the devastating earthquake in Morocco in 2023. We have delivered life-altering help to so many families. We provided food and home goods, we built and accessorized a school, we delivered winter boots and gloves and we repaired a mosque. Thank you again for your generosity and support.

ONE WORLD DAY - Morocco Represents

Moroccans residing in Cleveland Ohio, and the surrounding suburbs, organized a March under the slogan “-المسيرة الحمراء “- led by the United Moroccan American Association of Cleveland Ohio.

What We Do

The story of UMAACO (United Moroccan American Association of Cleveland Ohio) is one of a simple vision. The vision that Moroccan Americans in the greater Cleveland area, Ohio and beyond can be united to create unprecedented synergy and value.

The environment of living abroad results in greater challenges and limits the assimilation process. As a result, UMAACO was created to unite all Moroccan Americans and stimulate our existence through social activities that aspire to tighten our Moroccan roots. To help ensure the transition of Moroccan American communities into economies and communities of Ohio and abroad, we focus to empower individuals and families to gain knowledge, skills and attitude needed to acquire a sense of belonging in serving in order to create a thriving community able to cope with the social and economic challenges of American society.

We are here to help and guide youths and adults with the necessary life skills for a better community.
